We invite both professional and amateur artists to help us visualize the power of WEST as a tool for creating positive change during this pivotal time. We hope this invitation allows for you to design and create art which will inspire others to reconnect with the sources of life, water and energy that allow our economy, environment and society to function.

Inspiration for Artists
Problem: In which ways are nature’s systems at risk? How is sustainability a call to action? Is the term “sustainable development” an oxymoron?
Solution: In which ways do the 3 pillars of sustainability (economy, society, and environment) interact? How does sustainability improve the quality of human life? What are impacts of climate change on global trade and transportation?
Implementation: How can we raise awareness and the effectiveness of sustainability? How has sustainability played a part in your/our life? Is there a connection between sustainability and progress? What inspires you about the natural systems that support life on earth?
