About Sustainable Silicon Valley and the WEST Summit and Showcase
Sustainable Silicon Valley is a collaborative consortium of corporations, non-profit organizations, individuals and government agencies to produce significant environmental improvement and resource conservation through the development and implementation of a regional environmental management system.
The WEST Summit/Showcase is Sustainable Silicon Valley’s largest annual event, furthering the organization’s mission to lead Silicon Valley to a more sustainable future. WEST stands for Water, Energy, and Smart Technology, all critical elements necessary to drive sustainability both regionally and globally. The 4th annual WEST Summit will be on May 23, 2013 at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View and will consist of a Showcase of Solutions for Planetary Sustainability. These solutions will be scalable, game-changing and will have multiple benefits. The event will provide a venue for investors, inventors and established companies to explore opportunities for collaboration and for creating ecosystems of solutions.
