Call for Solutions Competition:

Sustainable Silicon Valley's Call for Solutions is your opportunity to showcase your creative solutions advancing global sustainability.  Your solution could be among those selected for special recognition and awards.  SSV is looking for innovative ideas, realistic approaches and scalable, feasible solutions contributing to improve health and sustenance of local, regional and global environments.  This is your opportunity to showcase your impactful ideas and proposed solutuion to really important problems.

Mission:

  • Inspire and stimulate ambitious solutions and foster collaboration (as well as competition to market). Stimulate cross-fertilization among new and mature solutions and across industry, system and sector boundaries. 

  • Bring attention to solutions that can have impact; understand their benefits and tradeoffs; create public demand for action; and, market demand for results.

  • Create ecosystems of solutions that enable green technology to take off in a way that has impact on global systems such as climate and ocean vitality.

  • Reward exemplary solutions/technology that embody the vision of creating resiliency and planetary sustainability

 

Participate in the Public Crowd-Sourcing of all Solution Submissions, and rate your favorite.
Public voting will run until mid-April.

Under Sustainable Silicon Valley's "Call for Solutions", over 100 solutions got posted.

YOU can now review these, cast your vote for your favorite solutions! It's as easy as:

1. Log-in to EcoCloud. (If new to EcoCloud, please REGISTER first.)

2. To REVIEW solutions, click on “Find Solutions” under the “Solutions” menu tab. (You can view all submitted solutions by clicking on “View All Solutions” at the bottom of the page, or choose which category(ies) you’d like to review and click on “View by Selected Categories”.)

3. To RATE a solution, click on the blue TITLE and use the 5-star rating system at the bottom of the solution page. You can also leave a comment. Make sure to click “RATE” when finished so your vote will get tabulated!

(To ensure a user votes for a specific solution only once, we require you to log in with your EcoCloud user account, or to register with EcoCloud.)
