“Recalculating…“ Navigating to September 18th First off, we hope you, your family, your coworkers, your friends and everyone you interact with are staying safe and healthy. While we continue to monitor reports from federal, state & local health authorities (good source here), we want to let you know that you have one less thing to worry about now, as we have decided to move WaterPalooza! toFriday, September 18th. These days business as usual keeps clashing with life in interesting times, and for now the old curse is winning. In addition to the slow, slow, fast pace of a changing climate we all are dealing with the incredible logarithmic speed of global virus transmission. Everyone around the world has been impacted to some extent by the COVID-19 Pandemic, even if only by a cancelled or postponed event or empty shelves where the toilet paper used to be. At SSV, we consciously choose to persist through these darkish days with the informed hope that at some point soon we will be well past the worst. In the meantime, we wash our hands to our favorite tunes, place one foot in front of the other and get back to work organizing our SSV Water(Round)Tables.  We will also continue planning  and programming the Fall launch of a proudly public event for the post-social distancing era, WaterPalooza!
