SSV Partners with Nebia for Water Efficiency

Sustainable Silicon Valley is partnering with innovative San Francisco-based shower maker Nebia on a drought action project to get new advanced technology Nebia by Moen Quattro Rainshower showerheads into the hands of lucky Bay Area water utility customers through their utility conservation programs. The Nebia Quattro Rainshower exceeds EPA WaterSense standards, operating between 1.25 to 1.5 gallons per minute. It retails for $120.

Nebia Investors Initiate Idea

Nebia is one of Fast Company’s 10 most innovative social good companies and is backed by an impressive list of high tech investors and social impact funds. The idea for the program came from Nebia’s investors, who challenged President and CMO Philip Winter with coming up with a plan to impact drought efforts through water efficiency. out after conversations with SSV Water Director Dennis Murphy and was publicly presented during Philip’s presentation at WaterPalooza! Despite the recent rains, the Bay Area, California and the West have to live with and plan for the reality of a continuing drought climate. Efficiency across all our water uses needs to be the norm. SSV and Nebia look forward to rolling out our project through the program generosity of Nebia investors. Water efficiency will never feel so good.
