Drew Clark

AQ & Mobility Director

Andrew (Drew) Clark serves as Board Chair for Sustainable Silicon Valley, a non-profit “think and do tank” that is leading the charge in tackling some of the grand challenges in sustainable use of water, carbon, energy, mobility, and now air quality. In his role as Director of Air Quality and Mobility Programs, Drew is responsible for a growing portfolio of innovative air quality and mobility programs, including SmartTA, Clean Air Equity Pilot, and Youth Air Quality Advocates.

Drew retired from IBM where he was Director of Corporate Strategy. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Drew held a variety of product development, management, and executive positions. Later, as co-founder of IBM's Venture Capital Group, Drew led partnership and M&A initiatives for many of IBM’s key business imperatives, including Big Data, Smarter Cities, IoT, and Cloud.

Holder of two AI patents, Drew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Western Carolina University and completed all coursework toward a Ph.D. in Theoretical Plasma Physics from the University of Texas at Austin
