The Indonesian-based company Topiku is responding to the environmental crisis by creating handcrafted hats made entirely from upcycled material. Indonesia produces the second largest amount of ocean pollution, and Topiku intercepts some of the garment industry’s excess to create an ethical, circular product celebrating sustainability.

Topiku not only ethically sources their materials but also is committed to investing in a sustainable Indonesian community, reflecting their Indonesian pride in the recycled batik patterns inside each Topiku hat. Topiku also employs local industry-towns in Indonesia and pays their artisans a fair wage.
